Visit from Seema Chopra

Yesterday we had a visit from Seema Chopra, I have to admit that before we got the email I hadn't of heard of her before. But when I got the email I started to do some research and as soon as my research started and I saw that she did the wigs for the Diet Coke advert I recognised it and I love that advert and was immediately excited to hear her talk!In her talk she showed us her work and also how she got to her final outcome, so how she made the wig. I was fascinated by how she made the wigs, she must have alot of patience, with some of her wigs she sows the hairs into the cap individually, I would never have the patience to do that. She then also told us about essential things to have in her kit when doing hair, I made sure i wrote this down. I couldn't believe how fascinated I was and how much I got into her talk, I wrote lots of notes that day, I didn't think I would get into it as much but I did. I then went to her workshop and  brought with me some fake hair and also photos of ideas I wanted to create and spoke her through my ideas and she gave me loads of advice on how to do it and what materials I needed and showed me with Katyas hair of what to do. I've already ordered some props for what i need to create me look. I loved today and was so excited to start creating my hair, I wasn't keen on hair before today but now I am, Seema was so nice and inspiring. Time to get hair crazy!!
