Avant Garde Hair

Hair Inspiration

From my research into different Tribes i have realised that to me their makeup is very strong and important and their hair is more low key. They mostly have shaven hair or hair all plaited or it to be up in a head scarf. From my research though I have realised that avant garde hair and tribal hair does have some similarities in the fact that their hairs have some shape and avant garde hair is all about shape. I also wanted to look at avant Garde hair to give me some inspiration for my ideas of what to do for the hair as I want it to have tribal references but ale have strong fashion references. When i was looking and finding all these avant garde hair i knew straight away that one of the elements I want to have in my hair is shape, whether it's height or circular shapes, or shape on just one side. These images have inspired me to go and make some props to try and create shape within the hair.
