Rodarte S/S 2010

I am going to look back and revisit the lecture we just had, we began by looking at Rodarte's Spring Summer 2010 Catwalk show. As you can see from the image above the theme for the hair and makeup was from the Maori Tribe, I have decided to look at these again because it helps me to start to get an understanding of how Tribal looks can be brought into fashion.
The makeup artist that worked on the show was; Mac makeup artist James Kaliardos. He worked for a month to create the sleeves for the show, he then had a team of 40 MAC artists on the day as you can see they all had a template they had to copy and drew the pattern on free hand. From looking at this it has made me think i need to practice my free hand and also I want to look more into the Maori Tribe. Better get finding some volunteers to practice my freehand!
